About the event
The Association of Filipino-Canadian Accountants - British Columbia (AFCA-BC) is pleased to host its Annual Spring Professional Development session, “Insurance as Investment & Tax Planning Tool,” designed for accountants and finance professionals.
This in-person session will explore how life insurance may be used as a tax-advantaged tool for investment, retirement, and estate planning, while remaining within appropriate professional and ethical boundaries.
Participants will receive a practical, non-technical overview of common insurance planning strategies, including how business owners may use insurance to support tax efficiency, retirement planning, and estate planning. The session will also discuss key considerations for accountants when working with insurance advisors, including ethical issues and referral relationships.
The session includes 2 CPD credits, including 30 minutes of ethics.
